Go Bananas with a 44M dollar Belize Bank loan

Over the past couple of weeks, the Guardian has been reporting on the almost half a Billion dollar debt which is owed to the Belize Bank by nine entities. This week we received information which tells us that the Go Bananas Group owes the Belize Bank a heafty ,279,648.24 as at the end of last year. That company has since been put under receivership. Spread over 11 different accounts, the company owed Belize bank the money; however, it is a single 44 million dollar loan which brought the company into trouble.

While the company has been put under receivership, the Guardian understands that the Belize Bank is currently in the process of selling the company which includes a significant amount of Banana fields.
