Senior citizen killed by his son?

Police Investigators from Corozal Town are attempting to solve the savage beating of 68-year-old Paul Antonio Castillo, which claimed his life. Police have charged one of his relatives, along with another man, for his murder.
Police say that at around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019, they responded to information that some sort of domestic commotion at a house located on 5th Street in the area of South Corozal Town. They arrived and immediately began looking around. When they entered the house through its only main door, they noticed the strong smell of alcohol.
The officers later found Castillo’s body lying face-up on a bed. Someone chopped him multiple times to the left and right feet, the left and right hands, the face and chest, and his neck. These many injuries suggest that he was attacked by more than one assailant.
Police investigations indicate that Castillo was socializing with persons inside his home when some sort of disagreement occurred. That escalated into a violent altercation, and those persons inflicted the chop wounds on the various parts of Castillo’s body.
Two days later, police arrested and charged 47-year-old Earl ‘Badman’ Bodden, a plumber from Buttonwood Bay in Belize City, and 28-year-old Norman Castillo, a tour guide from Belama Phase 2 in Belize City. Castillo, is reportedly the son of the elder Castillo who was killed. They were arraigned in the Corozal Magistrate’s Court on the offense of murder. Both men have since been remanded to the Belize Central Prison until December 23, 2019.
Bodden had previously faced murder charges in the stabbing death of a businesswoman in the Belama Area of Belize City a few years ago. He walked away from those charges.
