A hard working Santa Elena Town resident, Ms. Marjorie James, on Monday expressed relief to still be alive. The house she was renting in the Bradley’s Bank Area of Santa Elena in Cayo, mysteriously caught fire from within her bedroom at about 3:00 am last Thursday. As a result of the flames, some ,000.00 worth of her personal belongings was completely destroyed.
Luckily, the 46 year old mother of six children was staying at her sister’s house for the night on that fateful Thursday. However; she remains in dire need as her stove, washing machine, refrigerator and double bed and mattress were completely destroyed.
