Later that evening, a Concert was held at the Salvation Army Church on Cemetery Road. Youths from the 1st Church of the Nazarene, West-side Assembly of God and City Mission Church participated in that event as well. Over 100 youths attended the event.

On Sunday, April 26, there were bible quizzes, drills and elocution contests for which prizes were awarded. According to the Army, the most important event of the Council was a dedication service in which numerous dedications were made including two dedications for individuals to become Pastors or Officers in the Salvation Army. This year’s theme for the Youth Council was “Youths, Building together God’s Kingdom.”
