Primary schools volleyball competition continues at Stars Gym

The Belize City Primary Schools Volleyball competition continued over the last week with a number of games being played at Stars Gymnasium in Belize City.

On Thursday 7th March, in the first game played in the girls’ competition, St. Ignatius Primary School won over Salvation Army School in two sets by the score of 25-11 and 26-24.

In the first game played in the boys’ competition, Bethel Primary School defeated All Saints Anglican School in two sets by the score of 25-17 and 25-23.

In the second game in the girls’ competition, Queen Square Anglican School won over James Garbutt SDA School via the default route by the score of 25-0 and 25-0.

In the second and final game of the day in the boys’ competition, Queen Square Anglican School also won over James Garbutt SDA School via the default route by the score of 25-0 and 25-0.

On Wednesday 6th March, in the first game played in the girls’ competition, Hummingbird Elementary School won over Trinity Methodist School in two sets by the score of 25-9 and 25-21.

In the first of two games played in the boys’ competition, Hummingbird Elementary School also won over Trinity Methodist School by the score of 25-8 and 25-17.

In the second and final game in the girls’ competition, Belize Elementary School won handily over Queen Square Anglican School by the score of 25-4 and 25-22.

And in the final game of the day, which was played in the boys’ competition, Belize Elementary School defeated Queen Square Anglican School in three sets by the score of 25-23, 11-25 and 15-6.

The competition will continue on Monday 18th March with four games on the schedule.
