President and Vice President of the Football Federation of Belize, Sergio Chuc and Cruz Gamez, respectively, left the country to attend the Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol (UNCAF) 17th Ordinary Congress in Roatán, Honduras. It was not until after much deliberation that Chuc and Gamez were able to convince the UNCAF Congress that Belize deserved to host the UNCAF U-15 male tournament, to be held in November 2019. UNCAF also voted for Belize to host the Young Referees in Projection Course, to be held August 2019.
