A family in Toledo has lost their 10-year-old granddaughter to a freak accident. Preliminary police reports indicated that on May 18, 2018 while Valentino Teul, 58, was cutting down a tree, it fell on his 10-year-old granddaughter, Emilda “Edna” Che.
The two were in their yard in San Pedro Columbia, Toledo when Teul was cutting the tree. He did not notice his granddaughter and the trunk of the tree fell on her. Despite being rushed to the poly clinic in San Antonio, she succumbed to her injuries. Police are investigating.
