The Rotaract Clubs in Western Belize have made the attainment of education a more worthwhile goal via a four month Rotaract School Refurbishment Project, which has just been completed. This project was a national project that was led by the Rotaract Club of San Igancio. The Rotaract Club of Belmopan had decided to assist the St. Michael Roman Catholic School in Las Flores with the repairs of two Standard One classrooms. They were also able to install two garbage drums, a table for their library and a mural.

What was special about the Rotaract School Refurbishment Project was that it was fully sponsored by Westrac, an automotive and agricultural supplier in Belize.

The project was led by Bruce Flowers of the Rotaract Club of Belmopan. We thank Bruce Flowers and his team for reaching out to our primary schools.
