There was a fatal traffic accident just before eight o’clock on Wednesday of last week between San Ignacio and Benque Viejo del Carmen. Edgar Caan, an agronomist, from the Corozalito Area of the Cayo District, was founded motionless in his Nissan Altima, which had overturned several times between mile 69 and 70 on the George Price Highway. Apparently, 29 year old Edgar Caan had lost control of his vehicle and ended up in a pasture, off the road. His body was taken to the San Ignacio Community Hospital for treatment but he did not survive.
