The 5th Annual Pablo Marin Cycling Classic is scheduled for Friday May 1, 2009. The race is organized under the Corozal Cycling Association and will be held under the regulations of the International Cycling Union and the Belize Cycling Association.
The race will start at Miami Beach in Corozal, travels to the border, returns to Orange Walk Town at the Caribbean Tyre Roundabout, Northern Highway, turning back to Corozal for the finish at Miami Beach. This open race will cover a distance of 86 miles. According to the committee, the juniors will participate in the open race.
In the female category, the female riders will start at Miami Beach, travel on the Northern Highway to San Pablo and then back to Miami Beach for a distance of 40 miles.
The Belize Cycling Association informs all Team Managers that the Technical Meeting is scheduled for Thursday April 30, at 6:00 pm at the Belize Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association’s Conference Room.
