The 2014 Vega Cup Tournament continued on Sunday August 31 with four games at the Trial Farm Football field.
In the first game of the day, United Ballers defeated San Roman FC by the score of 7-0. The goals for United Ballers were scored by Didier Chulim in the 8th and 85th minutes of play, Andrew Allen in the 25th and 48th minutes of play, Jarette Hyde in the 27th minute of play, Kadir Gallindo in the 40th minute of play and Andy Garcia in the 57th minute of play.
In game two, San Juan FC edged out San Pablo Youth by the score of 2-1. The goals for San Juan FC were scored by Eric Osorio in the 37th minute of play and Juan Acosta in the 43rd minute of play. Meanwhile, the goal for the San Pablo Youth was scored by Guillermo Aguilar in the 73rd minute of play.
In the third game of the day, Awe V. United squeaked one by Uprising with the 4-3 victory. The goals for Awe V. United were scored by Daython Rivas in the 5th minute of play, Norman Trapp in the 17th minute of play, Dedron Baptist in the 50th minute of play and Floyd Jones in the 75th minute of play.
For Uprising, the goals were scored by Michael Palacio in the 57th and 62nd minute of play and Santos Urizar in the 90th minute of play.
And in the fourth and final game of the day, A.C. Aliari also edged out White Eagles by the score of 3-2. The goals for A.C. Aliari were scored by Wilber Rodriguez in the 2nd minute of play, Gadiel Santos in the 66th minute of play and Francisco Coyock in the 88th minute of play.
Meanwhile, the goals for White Eagles F.C. were scored by Elias Larios in the 74th minute of play and Xavier Cocom in the 82nd minute of play.
The competition will continue this coming Sunday September 7 in Orange Walk North.
