A Concepcion Villager was caught red handed on Saturday, September 19, burglarizing the Belize City Center. At around 11:50p.m. on that night, a security guard caught him inside the building with a school bag containing a number of toiletry items including a bottle of Pine Oil disinfectant, a Febreze brand fabric freshener and three double roll toilet paper.
Police responded to the report and upon arrival were handed over the suspect identified as Carlos Castillo. He was formally
arraigned before Senior Magistrate Dorothy Flowers where he was charged with one count of burglary.
Castillo pleaded not guilty and was offered bail in the sum of $3,000 plus one surety of the same amount which he was unable to meet. Castillo is due back in court on October 27.
