On Saturday September 19, at the MCC Grounds, the home team FC Belize defeated the Belize Defence Force by the score of 1-0. Ian Gaynair scored the only goal of the game in the 56th minute of play to hand the Belize Defence Force its second straight

loss of the season without a win so far.

On Sunday September 20, at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio Town, Hankook Verdes handed the visiting San Pedro Dolphins its third straight defeat when it blanked it by the score of 3-0.

The home team Hankook Verdes got on the scoreboard first when Amin August scored the 1st goal of the game in the 2nd minute of play to give his team an early lead. The lead was further increased when Daniel Jimenez scored his first of two goals in the 40th minute of play.

The first half of the game ended 2-0 in favour of the home team Hankook Verdes.

In the second half of the game, Hankook Verdes’ lead was further increased when Daniel Jimenez scored his second and final goal of the game in the 90th minute of play for the victory.

Meanwhile, at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga Town, the defending national football champion Nizhee Corozal improved its record to a perfect 3-0 when it blanked Wagiya by the score of 2-0. Clifton West scored the 1st goal of the game for Nizhee Corozal while Marlin Teck scored the 2nd and final goal for the big w.
