Belize City Primary Schools football competition rolls on at the MCC

The 2013-2014 Belize City Primary Schools Football Competition continued at the MCC grounds with a number of games.

The competition continued on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, with three games on the schedule. In the only female game played, St. Luke Methodist School and Holy Redeemer Primary School played to a 0-0 draw. In the first of two male games played, St. Luke Methodist edged Holy Redeemer School by the score of 2-1. The goals for St. Luke Methodist were scored by Chervin Tench while the goal for Holy Redeemer School was scored by Joshua Sulph. In the second and final game of the day, St. Joseph School blanked Wesley Upper School by the score of 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored by Mario Galindo.

On Monday, September 30, in the first of two games played in boys’ competition, James Garbutt Seventh Day Adventist School won over Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist School. In the second game of the day, Ebenezer Methodist School blanked Queen Street Baptist School by the score of 7-0. The goals for Ebenezer Methodist were scored by Tyreek Muschamp (4), Dion Cacho and KyJuan King (2).

On Friday, September 27, in the boys’ game played, Salvation Army won over St. Ignatius School. In the girls’ game played, Holy Redeemer School blanked Queen Square Anglican by the score of 7-0. The goals for Holy Redeemer School were scored by Cailyn Ramclam (4), Kelsey Rodriguez, Wareyni Gillett and Kelsie Moss.

In the games played on Thursday, September26, in the first of the two boys’ games played, Queen Square Anglican won over Wesley Upper School and in the second game played, St. Joseph School blanked St. John Vianney School by the score of 1-0. Mario Galindo scored the only goal of the game.

The competition will continue this Thursday, October 3 with three games on the schedule. In the first game scheduled for 1:00 pm in the girls’ competition, Belize Elementary School will see action against Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist School and in the first of two boys’ game, Belize Elementary will go up against Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist and in the final game of the day Holy Redeemer School will face James Garbutt Seventh Day Adventist School.

On Friday October 4, in the first of two boys’ games scheduled for 1:00pm Queen Street Baptist will see action against Unity Presbyterian followed by St.  Mary’s Primary against Wesley Upper and in the only girls’ game on the schedule it will be Queen Square Anglican against St. Luke Methodist. Â
