The 2012 – 2013 Belize City Primary Schools Football Competition is fast winding down at the MCC Grounds.
On Friday, November 16th, two boys’ games were played in the continuation of the competition. In the first game played, Ebenezer Methodist edged Muslim Community School by the score of 4-3. The goal scorers for Ebenezer Methodist were Kirk Broaster and Tyreek Muschamp, while the goal scorer for Muslim Community was Tirique Ciego; he scored all three goals for his team.
In game two, St. Luke Methodist blanked Calvary Temple by the score of 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored by Justin Menzies.
The competition also saw games played on Wednesday ,November 14th with three games on the schedule. In the only girls’ game played, St. Luke Methodist blanked St. Ignatius School by the score of 1-0. Crystal Ku scored the only goal of the game for St. Luke Methodist.
In the first of two boys’ games played, St. Ignatius School blanked St. Luke Methodist by the score of 2-0. The goals for St. Ignatius were scored by Bijoun Barera and Haldwin Castillo.
In the second game, St. Martin De Porres and Ebenezer Methodist played to a 0-0 draw.
The regular season will come to an end on Wednesday, November 21st, 2012 with the semi-final round scheduled to be played on Thursday, November 22nd, 2012, and the championship games scheduled for Monday, November 26th, 2012.
