There was a killing in Big Falls Village, Toledo and police have arrested and charged one person for the crime of manslaughter. Simon Baki, a resident of the village, was out socializing and drinking on Saturday, July 10 when he was attacked. Police were called to the area where they met Baki with cut wounds to the back of the head as well as multiple injuries to the body. He was transported to the Punta Gorda Police Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
For now, the police have not yet ascertained how many persons attacked Baki but have charged one man, Donicio Pau, a 25-year-old farmer of Big Falls. He was charged with the crime of Manslaughter.
