A career educator was the victim of a fatal road traffic accident (RTA) which took place in Toledo on Monday, June 28. 54-year-old Juan Chun was traveling on his motorcycle near Big Falls Village’s bridge when he was struck by a pickup truck. The driver of that vehicle, George Ortega, was driving in the opposite direction when he apparently lost control and collided into Chun. The impact of the collision sent Chun into nearby bushes and he succumbed to his injuries on the spot. While the police have only conducted preliminary investigations into this incident, it is believed that a notice of intended prosecution (NIP) was issued to Ortega, pending further investigations.
