The Premier League of Belize held its Awards Ceremony for the recently completed Opening Season 2019-2020 on Saturday 4th January, 2020, at the Belize Biltmore Plaza Hotel in Belize City.
The following were the recipients of the Opening Season Individual Awards:
Golden Glove – Shane Orio (Bandits Sport); Best Defender – Elroy Smith (Verdes FC); Best mid-Fielder – Jordy Polanco (Verdes FC); Best Young Player – Jesse August (BDF FC); Most Goal Scorer- Mariano Landero (Verdes FC); Fair Play – Placencia Assassins FC & Bandits Sport; Best Manager – Lorin Frazer (Verdes FC); Best Referee – Efren Guy; Best Fan Base Award – The Green Machine (Verdes FC); Regular Season MVP – Edwin Villeda Bernal (Verdes FC); Play Off MVP – Krisean Lopez (Verdes FC); Broadcasting Recognition Award – TNC 10; Bowen & Bowen Recognition Award.
