The Belize over 40 Football competition continued on Sunday 26th May, 2019 with three games across the country.
In the game played at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in the City of Belmopan, Golden Eagles defeated Roaring Creek Veterans by the score of 5 – 1. The goals for Golden Eagles were scored by Benigno Espinoza in the 23rd minute of play, Andres Monroy in the 25th, 38th and 87th minutes of play and Melvin Zavala in the 69th minute of play.
For the Roaring Creek Veterans, the only goal of the game was scored by Carlos Baiza in the 20th minute of play.
At the MCC Grounds in Belize City, Kulture Yabra Veterans defeated the San Pedro Veterans by the score of 1-0.
The only goal of the game was scored by Kevin Rowland in the 5th minute of play.
And in the final game of the day played at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio Town, Belmopan Veterans defeated River Walk Quintas by the score of 4-0.
The goals for Belmopan Veterans were scored by Oliver Wiltshire in the 15th,,24th , and 28th minutes of play and Paul Smith in the 38th minute of play.
The competition continued on Monday 27th May 27, 2019, with a single game on the schedule.
At the MCC Grounds, Santels United Veterans defeated Plaza Veterans by the score of 2-1.
The goals for Santels United Veterans were scored by Clifford Usher in the 76th minute of play and David Cabb in the 80th minute of play. Meanwhile, the goal for Plaza Veterans was scored by Augustine Mendez in the 50th minute of play.
