Blackman Eddy’s Elite 9 wins again in Cayo Softball competition

The Cayo Softball Association Senior Women’s Competition continued last Sunday, 7 April, 2019, with three games on the schedule out at Blackman Eddy Village.

In the first game that was on the schedule, the defending champions Unitedville Rebels United won over the Belmopan Capital City Emeralds via the default route. The score was 7-0 in favour of the Unitedville Rebels United.

In game two, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy won over the Esperanza Wolverines by the score of 13 to five. The winning pitcher was Shadalee Ho and the losing pitcher was Ronicia Vernon.

In the final game of the day, the host team Blackman Eddy’s Elite 9 defeated Camalote’s Cama Girls by the score of nine to six. The winning pitcher was Nikita Perez and the losing pitcher was Tiara Bradley.

The competition will continue this coming weekend with three more games on the schedule. The games will be played out in Camalote Village.

In the first game scheduled for 1:00 pm, Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy will go up against the Belmopan Capital City Emeralds. In game two, Unitedville Rebels United will see action against the leading Blackman Eddy Elite 9. In the final game of the day, Camalote Cama Girls will entertain the Esperanza Wolverines.
