An Orange Walk woman’s life ended suddenly when she was trampled over by a horse on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Evelina Suliema Celiz, a 36-year-old NEMO Coordinator, was at a horse race in San Felipe Village when she was trampled while attempting to cross the track during the race.
Despite being rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital, she succumbed to her injuries. Investigation into this matter continues.
