Five thousand one hundred and sixty three students from across the country will receive government’s school subsidy of 0. These students are representative of those who have qualified under the government’s adjusted program.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Hon. Patrick Faber made the announcement in early May of this year that the government’s school subsidy will be expanded to automatically cover the entire Corozal district. Additionally, primary school students attending schools in rural areas of the Belize, Cayo and Orange Walk Districts will automatically receive the subsidy.
