Lincoln Erskine

A resident of the Ladyville community located in the Belize District was murdered inside his home. His family is suspecting that it is related to an ongoing dispute that he had with at least two neighbors over access to his post for electricity. Lincoln Erskine, 58, was stabbed multiple times to the body on Monday evening before bleeding to death. It was not until Tuesday evening, however, that his lifeless body was discovered by his family. He would normally visit them but when he failed to do so, they became concerned and set out to look for him. When they entered his home, they found his bloody body, with multiple chop and stab wounds; he had been dead for hours.
Police in Ladyville have not yet formally made any arrests but several persons have been detained for questioning in this homicide.
