Pastor Mattes Hill, the father of the late Samuel Hill presented a full year’s scholarship to a 4th form student, Miss Darlene Cal, on Thursday April 15, at the school grounds of St. Ignatius High School in Santa Elena. The Scholarship is in Samuel Hill’s honor and was presented to a student of the St. Ignatius High School Adult Education Division.
The Scholarship was decided upon by the Board of Governors, Faculty, and Staff of the Evening Division in Samuel Hill’s honor since he was remembered as an outstanding student at the St. Ignatius High School Adult Education Division.
The Samuel Hill Scholarship 2020 to 2021 will be a yearly award to a deserving student of the Adult Education Division.
Samuel Hill was a role model and outstanding student in the Cayo Community. He became a victim of gun violence last Summer.
