Clean Sweep of Employees at San Pedro Town Council

The newly elected Town Council in San Pedro is going about a campaign of outright victimization against persons they believe to be supporters of the United Democratic Party. The Guardian has received documentation which shows that at least 12 persons have been fired from the town council. These persons include foremen, secretaries, receptionists, cashiers and members of the sanitation crew.
In letters being given to the workers, there is no explanation given for their termination. The curt letter simply states the time the persons had been employed and what their benefits are.
This is the kind out outright victimization which should never happen, since there was legislation being worked on to protect workers from arbitrary termination in the various municipalities. The legislation was to have protected employees from being fired because of political affiliations.
