Budget to be read on April 9th

As we go to into the Easter Holidays, the unions say that they will remain engaged in negotiations with government during these holidays. It is interesting however that as the negotiations continue, the Government has issued notices to parliamentarians that a House Meeting will be held on Friday April 9th. We presume that during this meeting, the budget will be presented. It seems that the 10% salary cut is a foregone conclusion with unions now just being taken for a ride.
Their negotiations it appears will have no bearing on the central issue of the 10% salary cut yet they are being strung along in meetings which will in the end amount to naught.
