Since taking office in November of last year, the new PUP administration has been on an apparent never-ending rampage of firing persons throughout ministries and statutory bodies. The most recent report reaching the Guardian Newspaper tells us that the firings continue. This time, the reports are out of the Ministry of Health and Wellness where Belizeans are being victimized in the far reaches of the Toledo District.
The Guardian Newspaper was informed that two drivers, two security officers and an administrative data entry clerk have been fired from the San Antonio Polyclinic in the Toledo District. The firings by all indications are politically motivated as new persons are already being sought to fill the positions.
