80 people fired from bus terminals

The Guardian has confirmed that 80 persons working with various bus terminal management units across the country have been fired by the new PUP administration. On January 15, George Price Day, there was mass firings across the country.
The terminal with the most firings was in Belize City with 25 employees, the entire compliment of workers were sacked. Most of those fired complained that they had campaigned and voted for the People’s United Party, yet they were being victimized in this most callous manner.
The same story was replicated across the country where 16 were fired from Belmopan, 13 from Orange Walk, ten from Mango Creek, eight from Corozal, seven from Dangriga and one from the Punta Gorda terminal. The exercise is being done to make way for PUP supporters in these areas.
Already replacements have been appointed to the various positions in all the terminals. All of those now working are card-carrying PUP members.
