Police arrested and charged four persons for an incident of robbery which took place on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. They have been identified as Edon Zamora, Andrew Parades, Tyrik Theus, and Nathaniel Betancourt. According to the victim, 46-year-old Guotau Wu, he was inside his store, Maxwell Store, located in Bullet Tree Falls Village, Cayo when a number of male persons entered the shop. One of those persons was armed with a 9mm pistol and the group proceeded to steal $300 in different denominations, his 9mm pistol valued at $4,000, three quarts of Tropical Brandy, and four packs of cigarettes. The men then fled the shop, making good their escape until police were able to arrest and charge them.
Important to note is that this is Betancourt’s second arrest recently. He has just been arrested and charged as one of two persons responsible for the shooting in which Debbidee Clarke was injured.
