Four ambulances and a fire truck arrived in Belize on Saturday, September 28. The emergency vehicles arrived via a cargo plane from the United States Air Force, which landed at the Philip Goldson International Airport. The vehicles are part of a donation from Edmonton Riverview Rotary Club which secured the vehicles from Alberta Health Services,alberta Honda, The City of Calgary, Calgary Firefighters Association and Edmonton Riverview Rotary Club.
The donation comes through efforts of BERT Belize and the Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise and Southern Emergency Services Belize.
