Due to the nature of the offense, bail was not be granted and they were remanded.

The incident is said to have happened on August 15, 2019 on Balon Street in Belize City. One of the men was seated on the bicycle’s handle while the second one actually rode the bicycle. One of them opened fire on the duo, but luckily missed. They made their way to the police station where they positively identified the shooters as Swasey and Morter.
