Brindel Munnings, 44, was shot while riding his bicycle near The Inspiration Center in Belize City on Sunday, August 18, 2019. According to investigators, Munnings had a previous misunderstanding with someone who could have possibly waylaid him as he made his way through an alley. Munnings was making his way through the alley, which leads to Police Street, around 11:00 p.m. A gunman approached and shot him, leaving him suffering from multiple gunshot injuries.
Munnings was rushed to the KHMH where he remains in a critical condition. Three persons have been detained and police are seeking a fourth.
