The National Elite Basketball League (NEBL) would like to welcome its eight franchise to the league, Punta Gorda Panthers, who will be participating in the upcoming 2020 season. They will be playing out of the newly constructed venue in Punta Gorda next season. The league will be tipping off its seventh season on January 18, 2020 as the defending champions, San Pedro Tiger Sharks will be hosting the Belize City Defenders in San Pedro.
