Kaya Cattouse captures KREM New Year’s Day Cycling Classic

The Cycling Federation of Belize in collaboration with the KREM Radio organisation sponsored the 29th Annual Krem New Year’s Day Cycling Classic which was held on Tuesday 1st January 2019.

The female event started out at 9:00 am from in front of the Orange Walk Town Hall and concluded at the Mahogany Street junction with the Central American Boulevard in Belize City.

The 52 miles event attracted only four riders which did not include Alicia Thompson. At the end of the event, it was Kaya Cattouse of C-Ray Cycling that captured first place in a time of 2”59:45. The second rider to cross the finish line was Nicole Gallego some 12 minutes after the winner and she was followed by Kaylyn Gillett some 32 minutes after the winner.
