Late this evening, while most individuals in the area of Sarstoon and Ebony Street were watching the 6:30 p.m. news cast, they were frightened by a burst of gunshots. Since this is breaking news before print, all information is unconfirmed. When the Guardian visited the area, Crime Scene

Investigators were on the compound of the Barracks on Ebony Street retrieving shells from a firearm that caused injuries to three individuals.

According to multiple residents, a lone gunman on bike pulled up in front of an apartment of the barracks and opened fire. Neighbours were very emotional and according to them Randolph Hinks, better known as Pantha, was shot dead inside his mother’s home. According to sources, Hinks had just returned home to visit his mother for the Christmas holidays. Neighbours said that his mother and another individual were also injured in the shooting. As much as 15 shells were marked by Crime Scenes Investigators in front of the residents of Hinks’ mother. Information is that Hinks was not the intended target.

Because this incident occurred just before printing we were unable to confirm reports. Hinks is known as a very popular athlete. He plays football, softball and basketball. The next issue of the Guardian will have more clear information.
