A new concrete building has been constructed at the Eden Seventh Day Adventist Primary School for the benefit of our children. Capital had been raised for its construction from both at home and abroad.

Speaking to parents and students on Sunday for the yearly Harvest, Principal Tharine Gabourel thanked all the donors and said what had been achieved was through the power of God.

Eden Primary was able to raise $600.00 from a recent turkey dinner sale, but now needs a further $3,000.00 to invest on improving windows for the upper flat of the new concrete building.

Those who are desirous to contribute towards this effort can now call cellular 666-4952. “I just want to say a big thank you to all the children, the parents the community members, who have donated; all those folks at the market, who are willing to give donations…we want to say a big thank you and hopefully for the new year, we will have all these windows up; that’s our aim”, says Tharine Gabourel, who has been the Principal of Eden Primary for the past 13 years.

Gabourel had overseen the building of several large concrete class-rooms at the Eden School, with the school having re-located from a smaller area a few years ago.
