The shop of a businesswoman, located on the Northern Highway, was the site of a robbery and police have managed to charge in relation to the crime. He is 28-year-old Pavilou Garbutt, a resident of the Jane Usher Area. He appeared unrepresented before Magistrate Khadeen Palmer in court on Monday, April 15, 2019 where he was read a single charge of abetment to robbery. The incident is said to have occurred on April 11, 2019 at a store at Mile 13 on the Philip Goldson Highway. During the robbery, it is alleged that four men robbed the woman of cell phones, cash, and a pistol, all to a total of $10,600.
